Kelleigh Bannen is a rare gem — absolutely gorgeous, so kind, incredibly talented, funny, feisty, driven and, believe it or not, a Nashville native.
I know, right? How often do you hear that a singer-songwriter was actually born and raised in Music City?
With her native status, you’d think she’d be the first to jump on the music business bandwagon at a tender age. But that’s not the way her dream came true.
Bannen didn’t wait for Music Row to call. She began touring on her own with a run called “90 Gigs in 90 Days” to honor her late brother and his battle with addiction. It landed Bannen in the news and on the radar of famed producer Paul Worley, which led to a meeting with Universal Music Group Nashville chairman Mike Dungan.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
