It’s almost impossible to discern if Blake Shelton is serious or joking in about 100 percent of the interviews he does.
So when he talked to Entertainment Tonight talking about his next batch of songs, he made it sound like it might be his last. Or not.
He says first that he just does the same old crap over and over again, which was obviously a joke. But then he said, “This next album I’m making is probably gonna be my last album. So I really gotta decide what I wanna do.”
Then he added, “I don’t do entertainment anymore, kids.”
As for any future collaboration with his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, he just says, “Man, I hope so.”
Shelton also talked about Stefani’s ruptured ear drum.
On a recent flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, when Stefani was suffering from a head cold, Shelton said when the plane reached a certain altitude, her eardrum just kind of exploded.
“I don’t even know how that happens,” he said. “I don’t know how it heals, either. But, she says she can hear now. It’s just slow. She’ll be all right. She’s tough.”
