Chely Wright will team with Dualtone Music Group, a Nashville-based independent label, to release her new album, The Metropolitan Hotel, in February. Wright, who previously recorded for Polydor and MCA Nashville, is gaining national media attention for her new single, "Bumper of My SUV," a song she wrote in support of those serving in the U.S. military. Earlier this year, Wright signed to another independent imprint, Vivaton Records, but parted company with the label before releasing an album. Wright's new album will be a partnership between her own company, Painted Red Music Group, and Dualtone.
