Carrie Underwood's Play On tour reached 1 million fans in 2010, according to figures released Tuesday (Jan. 4). Underwood concluded the tour at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Conn., on Dec. 30. The tour carried 80 personnel and traveled more than 35,000 miles in 13 trucks and eight buses. The tour is nominated for a Pollstar Concert Industry Award (Feb. 5) for most creative stage production. Raj Kooper directed the tour, while Michael Cotton crafted the set and Soyon An designed costumes.
