Thomas Rhett Announces 2017 Home Team Tour
With three shows left on Jason Aldean’s Six String Circus tour, Thomas Rhett has announced he will launch the 2017 Home Team Tour on February 23 in Saginaw, Michigan.
It is his first headlining arena tour with special guests Kelsea Ballerini, Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd.
“There has been this undeniable energy out on the road this year,” Rhett said in a press release. “And I know having Kelsea out there is going to amp things up even more. Having my own tour also gives me the opportunity to introduce some people I think are going to explode in the next couple of years and help give them a platform to reach the fans, like how Blake Shelton, Toby Keith and Jason did for me. I’m a huge fan of both Ryan and Russell and I can't wait for my fans to get to know them too."
The initial 15-city run includes stops in Baltimore, Maryland, Huntington, West Virginia and Rhett’s hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Tickets go on sale Oct. 7.
Additionally, an overseas tour through Ireland, the U.K., Belgium and the Netherlands starts Nov. 9 in Belfast.
