Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Kick Off Houston Rodeo

Although they're billed to perform on separate dates, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will kick off the concert series at the 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which runs March 3-22. McGraw is set to perform March 3, while Hill is scheduled to appear March 4, concert organizers announced Monday (Jan. 7). Country music dominates the event at Reliant Park in Houston, but the series also features several non-country acts. In addition to the McGraw and Hill shows, the schedule includes Kevin Fowler (March 5), Alan Jackson (March 6), John Legend (March 7), Martina McBride (March 8), Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana (March 9), Sugarland (March 10), Rascal Flatts (March 11), John Fogerty (March 12), Toby Keith (March 13), Clay Walker (March 14), Brad Paisley (March 15), Duelo and Los Horoscopos de Durango (March 16), Miranda Lambert (March 17), Big & Rich (March 18), Fergie (March 19), Dierks Bentley (March 20), Pat Green (March 21) and Brooks & Dunn (March 22). Tickets go on sale Saturday (Jan. 12) via Ticketmaster locations. However, sales for the Miley Cyrus concert will be restricted to season and mini-season tickets. A public drawing was previously conducted for individual tickets to the Cyrus show.
