Jon Pardi is changing things up this Christmas with his first animated music video - “Beer For Santa.”

“I picked this song because it was just so fun when you heard it and wasn't like anything I had heard before,” Pardi said. “Literally, wasn't your typical Christmas cookie-cutter song and a fun one to dance to."

Kyle Clark, J.T. Harding and Matt McKinney wrote “Beer For Santa.” Pardi co-produced the track with Ryan Gore and Bart Butler. Wes Edwards produced the video, and Skylar Wilson directed it.

Pardi explained that this was his first animated music video and that he loved it.

“It just feels old school and classic like how you used to watch ‘Rudolph’ and the other holiday cartoons, but with a new and slightly more mature twist on it,” Pardi said. “Loved the video and how it turned out. This song is so fun to sing live in the show, but this was a totally different way to experience it.”

Pardi hopes people watch the music video and get an idea of his “Merry Christmas From Jon Pardi” album.

“I want people to get a sense of some of its original songs that are mixed on there alongside the holiday classics,” he said.
