Trace Adkins, Bell Biv DeVoe and Wolfgang Van Halen To Be Featured On 'Behind The Music'

Paramount revealed new episodes of 'Behind The Music' will premiere on Paramount+ May 1.

Trace Adkins is one of country music's most recognizable stars—with one of the genre's most dramatic stories. Adkins' history includes not only No. 1 country songs but also movies, career struggles, alcoholism, a house fire, a near-fatal shooting, a run on "Celebrity Apprentice," and more.

Now, he's readying to share his story with the world on new episodes of "Behind the Music."

Paramount revealed new episodes of the series will premiere on May 1. In addition to Adkins, the series will include Bell Biv DeVoe and Wolfgang Van Halen. Remastered episodes feature 50 Cent, Bobby Brown, Ice-T, Milli Vanilli, The Notorious B.I.G. and Sinead O'Connor.

Bell Biv DeVoe sprang from New Edition with Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins going on to form the group. Their album, "Poison," went multi-platinum, but the group nearly dissolved due to infighting, financial pitfalls, addiction, and mental health struggles.

Wolfgang Van Halen is rock music royalty. The son of revered guitarist Eddie Van Halen and actress Valerie Bertinelli, Wolfgang tells his story of trauma and perseverance, including developing his own sound, a solo project, and honoring his dad's legacy.

Previous "Behind the Music" episodes on Paramount+ feature Boy George, Bret Michaels, Busta Rhymes, Duran Duran, Fat Joe, Huey Lewis, Jason Aldean, Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J, New Kids on the Block, Remy Ma and Ricky Martin.

Bruce Gillmer and Michael Maniaci executive produced "Behind The Music" for MTV Entertainment Studios. Mark Ford and Alex Castino executive produce for Creature Films alongside Tara Long for Entertainment One.
