Wynonna, Black Participating in Hurricane Relief CD

Wynonna and Clint Black are among the artists featured on the upcoming two-CD compilation, Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now, raising money for the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and the MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund. Wynonna teamed with Michael McDonald and Eric Benet to record "Heart of America," a new song written by Tim Blixseth. Black is donating an obscure track, "The Great Mississippi Flood of '93," which he has re-titled "When the Levee Broke." The song was previously only available as a bonus download when purchasing a copy of his Spend My Time at Wal-Mart. EMI, Sony/BMG, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Concord Music Group and the RIAA are working together to release the CD. All participating artists, publishers, songwriters and record companies waived their royalties for the charity project. Others featured on the CD include Coldplay, Norah Jones, John Mayer, the Dave Matthews Band with Robert Randolph, James Brown, Bonnie Raitt, Barbra Streisand and Elton John.
