Jeannie C. Riley, best known for her 1968 No. 1 hit "Harper Valley PTA," has filed suit in Williamson County Circuit Court [Tenn.] contending that she suffered injuries in a store fall. Riley seeks $250,000 from the Big Lots parent company, Consolidated Stores Corp., charging that injuries from a fall last year have kept her from performing as a singer and resulted in some lasting disability.
