As most of you could have guessed, country greats Garth Brooks and Shania Twain made the list of 1998's Top 10 Tours. According to Amusement Business' annual list of 10 top tours, Brooks ranked No. 5 -- reeling in a gross amount of $34,883,676 with 101 sell-out shows. Strait made the list at No. 6 -- raking in $32,948,832 with 18 sold-out concerts. Twain barely made the list, coming in at No. 10 -- snagging $27,083,481 with 40 sell-out performances. The list kicks off with The Rolling Stones' whopping $193,351,265 gross intake; followed by U2, Elton John and Yanni. Others making the Top 10 list include Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton and Celine Dion. Although it didn't make the Top 10 list, the Reba/Brooks & Dunn show ranked as the fourth highest country tour this year.
