Pics: Lauren Alaina Reveals Engagement on Opry Stage

Lauren Alaina introduced her future husband, Cam, and showed off her engagement ring in the Opry circle.

Lauren Alaina has had a lifelong love affair with the Grand Ole Opry, and Saturday night, she used the stage to reveal the love of her life had proposed.

Alaina and her fiancé Cam Arnold did a backstage photo shoot at the Grand Ole Opry House to celebrate their engagement and shared the photos on Instagram.

"BRIDE be dang'd, y'all," Alaina wrote. "My best friend, @arnold.cam, asked me to marry him, and I announced it at my favorite place in the world, @opry. I didn't know happiness and excitement like this existed. I can't wait to be Mrs. Cameron Scott Arnold. 💍 #Laurnold 📸: @hannahkikphoto

Alaina told People the night at the Opry was one she'll never forget.

"I got to celebrate the best year of my life," Alaina said. "I became a member of the Opry family in February, so I thought they should be the first to know I had been asked to be in another family as well."

She explained that while she and Arnold have been a couple for more than two years, this is the first time she's introducing him to the world.

"He has and will continue to be a sacred piece of my life," Alaina said. "He keeps me grounded and gives me a piece of a normal everyday life that I didn't have before him. We have been together for two and a half years, and we are just getting started. I can't wait to be Mrs. Cameron Scott Arnold. I'm so excited for everyone to know who he and we are. The best is still to come."

Alaina said Arnold proposed to her on Friday.

"I didn't think this year could get any better," she said. "I got asked into another family! After he proposed to me, I said, 'You have to come out on this stage at the Grand Ole Opry.'"

At Alaina's insistence, Arnold walked out.

"Everybody, this is my fiancé," she said. "I told him he had to come out here, and we had to get a picture — we're doing it because this is the circle, and I'm going to hold my hand up and do the thing. Make some noise for my future husband everybody!"

Alaina's country music friends piled onto her social media feeds to offer their congratulations.

Carly Pearce wrote: "OMG YES SO HAPPY ❤️"

Jake Owen said: "So happy for you, @laurenalaina ♥️ we love you!!!"

Martina McBride commented: "Lucky guy! Super happy for y'all"

Jennifer Wayne added: "Ahhhhh, congrats sister!!!!!!

The news comes about four months after Alaina revealed she had signed a new record deal with Big Loud Records.

"I got a label that matches my personality: big, loud, and country," Alaina told Billboard, calling Big Loud her "dream label." "I really want to tap into my country roots. I don't think people remember like how Southern I am… I'm a country girl through and through."

It isn't the first time Alaina has worked with Big Loud. The Georgia native teamed with Big Loud artist Hardy for their hit "One Beer" with Devin Dawson.

"We feel like Lauren is absolutely one of the best vocalists, male or female, in this town," Big Loud CEO/Partner Seth England told Billboard. "Certainly, she's had success, but we humbly think she has barely scratched the surface of what we think we can do together. Lauren Alaina deserves to be, in my opinion, on the same pedestal as Carrie Underwood, and it's our job to help her find that mode."

Big Loud Records is also home to Morgan Wallen, Jake Owen, Chris Lane and more. Alaina currently has a duet on country radio with Lane, "Dancin' In The Moonlight."

In addition to her thriving music career, Alaina is building her brand in pop culture. The Grand Ole Opry member recently appeared on CBS' "Beyond The Edge" and ABC's "Dancing With The Stars." She is the celebrity brand ambassador for Maurices, an Amazon best-selling author and starred in a Hallmark movie.

"(I want to) make music that I'm really proud of with a team that I'm really proud of," she said in a statement. "I want to do as much as I can do in the next 10 years. And I'd probably like to also get married and have some kids. So, I want to be able to balance all of that in the next 10 years. I think it's gonna be the biggest 10-year span of my life so far."
