Shania Twain's Tour Bus Involved In Crash, Crew Members Hospitalized

Shania Twain's tour bus was traveling between tour dates when it and one of her trucks were involved in a multi-vehicle accident.

Shania Twain is safe, but members of her touring crew were hospitalized on Wednesday when her tour bus and truck crashed in Canada.

Twain was not on the bus.

The bus and truck were traveling between dates on her Queen of Me Tour.

"One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain - Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon," Twain's management company, Maverick Management, told PEOPLE in a statement. "Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather. Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals."

The statement said Twain's team is "incredibly thankful" for emergency services responding quickly and for their ongoing support.

"We ask for patience as we look after our touring family," it said.

Twain is in the midst of her Queen of Me Tour, which she launched in Washington in April. The expansive tour has twisted through the U.S., Europe and is now in Canada, where it will conclude next week.

Twain will kick off her Las Vegas residency at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas in May.
