Country music’s best and brightest head to Austin, Texas, this week for the 2024 CMT Music Awards. Kelsea Ballerini will host the event that celebrates the most memorable songs, videos and country music moments in the genre over the last year. Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Ballerini, Lainey Wilson and Megan Moroney are tied for the most nominations of the night while Johnson, Jelly Roll, Ballerini, Wilson, HARDY and Ashley McBryde will compete for the night's top honor - Video of the Year.

McBryde, Moroney, and Jelly Roll are each past Breakthrough Artist of the Year winners, another highlight of the night and a predictor of future success. This year, Anne Wilson, Ashley Cooke, Brittney Spencer and Tigirlily Gold will compete for Breakthrough Female of the Year, while Chayce Beckham, Warren Zeiders, Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan will vie for Breakthrough Male.
