The 2023 "CMT MUSIC AWARDS" scored its biggest audience in awards show history this year, and on Thursday, the networks revealed plans to repeat the feat in 2024.

The 2024 “CMT MUSIC AWARDS” will air LIVE from Moody Center in Austin, TX on Sunday, April 7th on CBS. Show time is (8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. The awards show will also be available to stream live and on-demand via Paramount+ with SHOWTIME*.

Last year marked the show’s first trip to Austin, Texas, and its CBS debut.

The "CMT Music Awards" are Paramount Global’s country tentpole, and with performances by artists including Blake Shelton, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and show hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown notched record-setting ratings in 2023.

The broadcast reached 6.18 million viewers (+5%)^ and live stream posting +16% YTY gains.

Performers, nominees and hosts have not been announced.
