Watch: Lainey Wilson Strikes Up a Few Songs on "CMT Campfire Sessions"

Lainey Wilson's episode of "CMT Campfire Sessions" is out now on CMT’s YouTube and Facebook channels.

Lainey Wilson just released her second album, "Bell Bottom Country," and is gearing up for her role in "Yellowstone." She's a leading nominee ahead of Wednesday's CMA Awards, but today the "Heart Like a Truck" singer is taking a break with CMT's popular digital series "CMT Campfire Sessions."

Wilson's episode of "CMT Campfire Sessions" is out now.

"Back in 2020, I did a 'Campfire Sessions' with just me and my guitar player. A lot has changed since then, and I was excited to come back with my full band and play some newer songs," Wilson said. "It doesn't get much better than getting to sit around a campfire with your band and jam together. Thanks, CMT, for having me back for another Campfire Sessions!"

Wilson's episode is set in front of a barn with horses in the background and includes her new hit "Heart Like a Truck," "Watermelon Moonshine," as well as her first No. 1 "Things A Man Oughta Know."

"I wrote this song for anybody and everybody who has been through heartbreak, hard times, hard luck," Wilson said. "It's about not being afraid and ashamed of the scratches and the dents and the bumps along the way. Instead, be proud of it because that's exactly what makes you who you are."

Next week, Wilson will partner with CMT again, along with "Yellowstone," for a TikTok live in honor of the season five premiere of the cowboy smash.

"(Taylor Sheridan) said, 'I want to create a role specifically for you,' and I'm like, 'you're sure you want to do that? Let's do it!'" Wilson told Audacy's Katie Neal. "I love doing things that are scary. I love stepping outside my comfort zone. It's going to be great."

Other artists included in this season of CMT Campfire Sessions are Scotty McCreery, Jessie James Decker and Charley Crockett.

"CMT Campfire Sessions" reimagines and elevates traditional campfire sing-alongs, including swapping songs and stories. Artists who have done past seasons of the show include Cody Johnson, Granger Smith, Jimmie Allen, Jordan Davis, Lee Brice and more.
