SEE: Tracy Lawrence Completes His Country Music Mount Rushmore Tattoo

Tracy Lawrence posted a video with his tattoo artist as he worked on the large country music-inspired tattoo.

Tracy Lawrence isn’t shy about his love of country music. The singer has charted 18 No. 1 songs, hosts his podcast TL’s Road House and his HONKY TONKIN’ RADIO SHOW. Now the “Paint Me a Birmingham” singer has a tattoo of his favorite fellow country singers on his forearm.

Lawrence posted a video on social media proclaiming that his country music Mount Rushmore tattoo was “getting real close to being done.”

Who is in the tattoo? Lawrence's choices were George Strait, George Jones, Keith Whitley and Merle Haggard.

In the video, the singer introduced followers to his tattoo artist Travis Harper and declared his nature scenes and wildlife “absolutely amazing.”

“He’s been working on this all day,” Lawrence said while directing people to Instagram to follow Harper.

The tattoo is his second in the last 30 days. At the end of June, Lawrence posted a video of himself getting inked by Ink Master season 9 winner Bubba Irwin. Irwin tattooed a lighthouse on Lawrence’s other arm.

Lawrence laid down with his arm stretched across the table as Irwin worked on finishing the rays of light emitted from the lighthouse.

He said that Irwin had done tattoos for Jason Aldean, Kane Brown and Gary Allan. He said Aldean had connected him with the artist and that he had been touring with Allan.

“We did the, “I’ll show you mine, and you show me yours,” he said.

Lawrence has received more than tattoos this year. In the Spring, Country Radio Seminar named him the 2023 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award during the New Faces of Country Music show as part of Nashville’s annual Country Radio Seminar.

“I am overwhelmed with gratitude for being honored by the Country Radio Broadcasters,” Lawrence said in a statement. “The success of Mission: Possible, each year surpassing our previous donation records, is nothing short of a blessing. Giving back has always been a calling for me, and to be acknowledged for that by such a long-standing and respected organization is truly an honor.”
