CMT’s summer programming is heating up in the coming days with as many new shows as fireflies in the balmy night sky.

The festive fun begins at 10p/9c Tuesday, July 4, with “CMT Hot 20 Presents: Let Freedom Sing!” from Nashville’s Independence Day celebration, which Brad Paisley will headline.

The network’s new series “CMT Summer Sessions” will premiere July 7 and boasts a star-packed lineup throughout the season, including Ashley McBryde, BRELAND, Chris Janson, Jordan Davis, Lee Brice and Tanya Tucker. The first episode is dedicated to Tucker, with subsequent episodes featuring the other stars airing 9p/8c Fridays on the network throughout August.

In addition, the fan-favorite concert series “CMT Summer Camp” is back again, this time with headliner Tyler Hubbard.  The show will air at 10p/9c on August 11.

Then after the July 4 firework-filled primetime extravaganza, “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” continues with all-new star-studded specials celebrating its 10th-anniversary milestone with an on-the-road episode with Luke Bryan.

CMT’s summer shows include:

• CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN ON TOUR WITH LUKE BRYAN - Saturday, July 1 & Sunday, July at 9a/8c

CMT Hot 20 goes on the road with superstar Luke Bryan who continues his reign as the artist with the most No. 1 videos in Hot 20 history. They visit a tour stop in Holmdel, NJ, for an interview during his massive 36-city “Country On Tour.” Hosts also chat with Bryan’s tour openers: CMT Next Women of Country 2023 member Alana Springsteen and American Idol winner Chayce Beckham.

• “CMT HOT 20 PRESENTS: LET FREEDOM SING!” - Tuesday, July 4 at 10p/9c

Broadcasting LIVE from downtown Nashville, CMT Hot 20 Countdown goes primetime as Brad Paisley headlines this 30-minute concert special, immediately followed by a commercial-free presentation of one of the largest fireworks displays in the country, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp’s (NCVC) live Fourth of July fireworks display, accompanied by the Nashville Symphony.

A fun, fresh warm-weather series delivering the perfect summertime soundtrack, “CMT Summer Sessions” features a star-packed lineup of country’s hottest stars as they share new music and some of their biggest hits lakeside at Southall in Franklin, TN. The 8-episode series also includes two special themed episodes: “Summer Jams” hosted by BRELAND, and “90s Country” hosted by Lee Brice.

CMT treats fans to the ultimate concert experience with the return of “CMT Summer Camp,” an exclusive one-hour special with Tyler Hubbard shot from the Sandy Creek Barn Amphitheater at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, GA. The EMI Records Nashville recording artist will perform songs from his debut solo album, Tyler Hubbard, for a night filled with good music and summertime fun – fireworks included!
