After capturing the Country Music Association’s Horizon Award and seeing their new album Melt debut at the top of the country albums charts, Rascal Flatts can now claim their first No. 1 single. “These Days,” the first single from Melt, ended the six-week reign of Keith Urban’s “Somebody Like You” atop Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.

The Dixie Chicks’ Home flies back to No. 1 on this week’s Billboard Top Country Albums chart, with Faith Hill’s double-platinum Cry slipping to No. 2. Shania Twain’s Up!, released Tuesday (Nov. 19), will almost certainly eclipse both Hill and the Chicks on next week’s album charts.

With Rascal Flatts in the top spot on the country singles chart, Urban dips to No. 2. For a second consecutive week, the Chicks’ “Landslide” is at No. 3 and George Strait’s “She’ll Leave You With a Smile” remains at No. 4. Toby Keith’s “Who’s Your Daddy?” climbs two slots to No. 7, Montgomery Gentry’s “My Town” falls one position to No. 6 and Tim McGraw’s “Red Ragtop” jumps to No. 7 from No. 10. Alan Jackson’s “Work in Progress” falls two notches to No. 8, Twain’s “I’m Gonna Getcha Good!” falls one position to No. 9. Diamond Rio’s “Beautiful Mess” rounds out the Top 10 after spending 34 weeks on the chart.

New singles debuting this week include Martina McBride’s “Concrete Angel” (at No. 52) and Urban’s “Raining on Sunday” (at No. 57).

With the Chicks and Hill taking the two top spots on the country albums chart, Elvis Presley’s ELV1S: 30 #1 Hits rises one position to No. 3. Rascal Flatts’ Melt falls one slot to No. 4. Holding steady for a second consecutive week are Keith’s Unleashed (at No. 5), Jackson’s Drive (No. 6), Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems (No. 7) and the all-star compilation Totally Country Vol. 2 (No. 8). Jackson’s Let It Be Christmas rises one position to No. 9, and Alison Krauss & Union Station’s Live dips one slot to No. 10.

New releases debuting this week on the country albums lean toward the holiday spirit, including Cledus T. Judd’s Cledus Navidad (at No. 57) and the Oak Ridge Boys’ An Inconvenient Christmas (at No. 69). The only other debut is White Trash Christmas, a comedy album by Bob Rivers, a radio personality at a Seattle classic rock station. With a track list that includes “Osama Got Run Over by a Reindeer,” White Trash Christmas debuts at No. 62.
