In just seven weeks, Tim McGraw has reached No. 1 on the Billboard country airplay chart with the passionate single, "Live Like You Were Dying." Written by Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman, the call to live life to its fullest is the title track of McGraw's upcoming album.

McGraw's buddy, Kenny Chesney, is racing up the chart, as well, with the self-written "I Go Back" at No. 2. Last week's No. 1, Toby Keith's "Whiskey Girl," falls to No. 3. Montgomery Gentry's "If You Ever Stop Loving Me," David Lee Murphy's "Loco" and Lonestar's "Let's Be Us Again" appear in fourth through sixth place, followed by Reba McEntire's "Somebody," Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss' "Whiskey Lullaby," Gretchen Wilson's "Redneck Woman" and Billy Currington's "Walk a Little Straighter."

Keith Urban's "Days Go By" shoots to No. 18 in its third week, and George Strait's "I Hate Everything" debuts at No. 41. Other new singles include Clay Walker's "Jesus Was a Country Boy" at No. 55, Keith Bryant's "Ridin' With the Legend" at No. 56, John Michael Montgomery's "Goes Good With Beer" at No. 58 and Mark Chesnutt's "The Lord Loves a Drinkin' Man" at No. 60.

Wilson and Big & Rich continue to hold down the first and second spots, respectively, on the country albums chart, as Joe Nichols' Revelation debuts at No. 3. The latest albums from Chesney, Paisley, Keith and Urban land at No. 4 through No. 7, followed by Josh Gracin, the compilation Patriotic Country and Alan Jackson's Greatest Hits Volume II.

In addition to Nichols' Revelation, this week's debut albums include Emerson Drive's What If? and Dwight Yoakam's Dwight's Used Records, an assortment of soundtrack stuff, tribute album offerings, collaborations and three new tracks. That should whet the appetite of his fans until the arrival of The Very Best of Dwight Yoakam, another single-disc collection to be released July 27.
