CMT on Tour: Keith Urban Be Here 'O4 Begins Oct. 8

Multi-Platinum Artist Keith Urban Headlines for the First Time; Tour to Coincide with Sept. 21 Release of 'Be Here'

Keith Urban has been electrifying audiences across the country since his debut release in 1999. He's sold millions of albums, had four No. 1 singles, eight Top 5 hits and is Nashville's newest superstar. CMT on Tour: Keith Urban Be Here 'O4 will mark the multi-platinum artist's first headline tour and "who wouldn't wanna be there?" Set to open on Oct. 8 at Emens Auditorium in Muncie, Ind., the first leg will include 20 shows over a five-week span. CMT on Tour: Keith Urban Be Here 'O4 will include performances in major cities across the country, including Dallas, New York, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Detroit and Cleveland. CMT on Tour: Keith Urban Be Here 'O4 is presented by Gain, sponsored by Sleep Inn.

CMT on Tour: Keith Urban Be Here 'O4 will highlight all of the hits from Urban's career including the songs that made him Billboard magazine's most played artist for 2003 ("Somebody Like You," "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" and "Raining on Sunday") as well as his third No. 1 track from Golden Road, "You'll Think of Me." In addition, Urban will perform his first No.1 hit, "But for the Grace of God," as well as his latest release "Days Go By" from his highly anticipated forthcoming Capitol Records release, Be Here, which hits stores Sept. 21.

Universal South newcomer, powerhouse singer-songwriter Katrina Elam, will open for Urban. Her self-titled debut album will be released Oct 5. Elam's first single, "No End in Sight," produced by Tony Brown and Jimmie Lee Sloas, was recently released and has already made its way into the Top 40.

Select stops on the CMT on Tour: Keith Urban Be Here 'O4 will feature CMT's promotional vehicle, CMT Cross Country, which features a star-studded red carpet where fans can pose with their favorite life-size stand-up celebrity. At the end of the red carpet, fans can pose for a free laminate featuring their face on the cover of Country Music Today magazine. The walk-up tour, based out of a 53-foot promotional truck and trailer, will provide music fans with cutting-edge entertainment including games and a chance to win CMT prizes.
