Dierks Bentley Plans Nashville Concert to Coincide With Release of New Album

Dierks Bentley has scheduled a Feb. 2 concert at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium to celebrate the arrival of his sixth album, Home, set for release on Feb. 7. Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday (Nov. 18) via the Ryman box office and Ticketmaster. The album's first single, "Am I the Only One," recently reached No. 1 on Billboard's country songs chart. Bentley will perform "Home" on NBC's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (Nov. 17). His most recent album, the mostly-acoustic Up on the Ridge, was released in 2010. "My home is in Nashville with my family, my home is on the road with our fans and my home is definitely in country music," Bentley said of the new album's title. "This album is more than a year's worth of writing, recording and testing out material on the road in front of our hardcore fans. The end result is an album that runs through all the types of country songs and sounds I enjoy singing and playing." The first leg of his Country & Cold Cans tour concludes Saturday (Nov. 19) in Denver and resumes in February with shows scheduled in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
