It always sounds so cliché when artists say that they are just honored to be nominated for an award. But here's how I know that some country stars were genuinely happy for their peers on Sunday night (Feb. 12) at the 59th annual Grammy Awards ceremony.

After Hillary Scott and the Scott Family won two contemporary Christian awards early in the night, nominee Kelsea Ballerini tweeted immediately.

And her Lady Antebellum bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood were quick to post their own praises.

Then when songwriter Lori McKenna won best country song for writing Tim McGraw's "Humble and Kind," the photo McGraw's wife Faith Hill posted said it all.

The best country album Grammy honors went to Sturgill Simpson for his A Sailor’s Guide to Earth, and immediately his fans in the music industry spoke out about the win.

Maren Morris, who was the only country winner to accept a Grammy during the televised show, picked up her best country solo performance and was flooded with praise from other new country stars.

And Jessie James Decker gushed about Morris' performance of her ballad "Once" with Alicia Keys.

Morris and Keys have collaborated before, when they came together for an episode of CMT Crossroads late last year.
